Intermodal Group is proud to celebrate the official opening of the Kenwick Intermodal Terminal (IMT) this week, marking a significant advancement in Western Australia’s logistics and transportation network.
The Kenwick Intermodal Terminal (IMT) is strategically connected to the adjacent Roe Highway Logistics Park (RHLP) and provides easy access to the industrial warehouse precincts of Canning Vale, Jandakot and Kewdale, featuring RAV7 trucking access for seamless last-mile deliveries.
We were honoured to host Federal Minister for Transport, the Hon. Catherine King MP, WA Deputy Premier, the Hon. Rita Saffioti MLA, Federal Member for Burt, the Hon. Matt Keogh MP, and State Member for Forrestfield, Mr. Stephen Price MLA, at the official opening.
As the operator of the Kenwick IMT, Intermodal Group is excited to leverage its throughput capacity of over 200,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs), including additional space for an empty container park. We are proud to partner with Watco Australia, whose dedicated rail fleet, capable of handling up to 100 TEUs per service, will initially offer a daily weekday service with the flexibility to increase as demand grows.
